2024 7th Annual Trunk or Treat - Fall 2024

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the King City Recreation Department will hold our 7th Annual Trunk or Treat event for local families from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds. 

Please pre-register your trunk! It's free!  Be creative! Student groups, community organizations, sports teams, churches, businesses, individuals - all are welcome to participate!

?       Be prepared with candy for approximately 1000 children – Please buy SMALL candies - not fun size and give one small piece!

?       Vehicles can be decorated to advertise a business/organization or just in Halloween fun!  Games or activities are welcome!

?       All decorations MUST be in good taste – NO blood and gore.  If in doubt, don’t use it.

?       Registered vehicles may arrive starting at 2:30 p.m. All vehicles must be decorated by 4:00 p.m.

?       The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. and all vehicles must stay in place until the end of the event.

2024 Girls Fall Flag Football - Fall 2024

Welcome to the King City Recreation Girl's Fall Flag Football Program!

Who:  Girls from 3rd - 8th grade

When: Season runs is 9/28 - 10/26 Saturdays ONLY

Where:  King City High School

Teams coached by KCHS Girls Flag Football Coaches and players. Practices and games on Saturdays only.

2024 Girls Softball Fall UNITY - Fall 2024

Welcome to the King City Recreation Girl's Fall UNITY Softball Program.

Games will start in September and games will be local with occasional games within an hour travel area.  Cost is $63 per child.  Sibling discounts available.  This is a fun, skill building program for ALL abilities.  We will have one team at each level - Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14.  Limited spots available per team.

Fees include jersey and insurance.  Player will need a glove, cleats, socks and pants.  Your own helmet is helpful but not required.
