2026 Youth Basketball - Winter 2026

Welcome to the King City Recreation Department Winter Basketball Program.  PLEASE READ!!!!

Program open to Boys and Girls, 3rd - 8th grade.  Boys teams and girls teams - ALL TEAMS are coached by the King City High School boys and girls basketball teams and coaches.  No practices during the week.  PROGRAM ONLY ON SATURDAYS!

All practices and games for the season are SATURDAYS ONLY - January 3, January 10, January 17, January 24, January 31 and February 7.

Saturday Schedule:

ALL GIRLS 8:30 - 10:00

3rd  - 5th grade boys 10 - 11:15

6th - 8th grade boys 11:15 - 12:30

Cost is $79 per player and includes jersey and shorts.  Regular registration will be held until November 1.  Sibling discounts available.  

Absolute LAST day to sign up is December 5.  No Late Registrations Will Be Accepted.

2026 Girls Softball - Spring 2026

Welcome to the King City Recreation Girl's Softball Program. PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE THING!

Our league is REC SOFTBALL and not TRAVEL softball.  Everyone PLAYS.   It is about the girls - learning the game, having fun and making friends. This is a fun, skill building program for ALL abilities.

Age groups are 5 - 7, 8 - 10 and 11 - 14 years of age as of August 31, 2025.  Please register where your child belongs for their age.  WE WILL MOVE UP after tryouts, if necessary.  Tryouts held mid-February.  Games will start in March and games will be within an hour travel area.  Under 8 will only travel to Soledad/Gonzales/Greenfield.  Cost is $100 per child.  Sibling discounts available.

2026 Spring Build a Stuffy Workshop 3/26 - Spring 2026

Join us for Build a Stuffy Workshop for kids from 2 - 6 years of age and their adult!  The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 26 9 from 5:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the King City Recreation Center.  LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS MARCH 6, 2026.

Come build your own Spring stuffed animal and enjoy some refreshments.  Please look at the stuffys on the flier - from left to right it's Frog, Ducky, Bunny, Confetti Bear or Bunny.  Select your stuffy at registration and it will be waiting for you to put together and take home.
